EXCLUSIVE VIP EVENT: Bone Augmentation – Current concepts & new ways
All detailed information about date will be announced soon
Bone augmentation and implant treatments are often closely linked due to the clinical situation of the recipient bed. To ensure an optimal position for the implant while reducing morbidity for the patient, bone graft substitutes can be used. botiss offers a comprehensive biomaterial system for Implantology, Oral Surgery, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Periodontology. This portfolio enables the augmentative treatment of special defects in dental bone and soft tissue regeneration is possible in any clinical situation. The right combination of bone graft materials and augmentation techniques is essential for a high-quality outcome and thus for patient satisfaction. Commonly carried out bone-augmentation procedures are sinus floor elevation, guided tissue regeneration, autologous bone transplantation and allogeneic bone blocks.
Which procedures are used in which situations? How can biomaterials be used as an alternative for autologous material?
This exclusive course is addressed to oral surgeons and oral and maxillofacial surgeons who want to expand their spectrum in the field of implantology, especially in the area of augmentative surgery and soft tissue management and provides an overview with focus on demanding
techniques in the field. Live surgeries and hands-on exercises will be used to teach the various applications of augmentative techniques, with particular discussion of the use of the shell technique with allogenic plates. The exercises on the model and on the pig‘s jaw allow practical application of the knowledge imparted and should facilitate the direct implementation and handling.
